Soon to be back on the boat

We have been piling supply stuff up to pack in our bags to Florida. I put it all into my suitcase today. 35 lbs. so far. We still have 2+ weeks to go.

The head sail is being shipped here. It was cheaper that way and pay $35 extra bag on Delta than to pay Florida tax and free shipping to the boat. Go figure.

We also have all of the canvas from the bimini and dodger. We brought it back home to have it repaired locally. All of the zippers were sun damaged and the teeth all popped off. Crazy. So we have to pack that as well.

We left all of our clothes on board when we left last time so we don' t have to pack too much of that.

We are really looking forward to getting back there and being on board. We got the boat Coast Guard registered instead of registering in MT. Weather permitting we are going to sail over to the upper Abaco Islands in the Bahamas. It is a lot closer than the Keys and we love the crystal clear waters for snorkeling. We have spent a lot more time exploring the fishing opportunities over there and what kind of tackle to use. We are hoping to catch a lot more fish on this trip as well.

The tax deadline is quickly drawing near and we are ready to have sand between our toes, wind in our sails, and fish on the grill.

Happy Easter.
